Your Time Is Valuable

In fact its more than valuable – it’s priceless! Once you have spent that minute, hour or day doing things which take your further from your goals not closer, nothing you can do will ever get that time back.

So why do we treat our precious time so casually? I guess its because we rarely see it as limited. The only time we get a glimpse of how limited is when we are rushing to make a deadline, catch a plane or trying to fill in the last precious moments of a holiday, when we wish we’d started earlier or done more when we had the chance.

The thing is, if you don’t value your time, no one else will. If you constantly let other people’s agendas eat into your day, if you always try to be flexible and helpful when other people are running late then you are teaching them that you don’t value your time. And if you don’t, why should they? And the worst of it is that the people who do value your time are the ones who suffer!
