We’ve managed to make it to another weekend and some lovely hard-earned chill out time. But this is a really important weekend because you have just one week left to achieve everything you had planned to do this month.
So how are you doing? Are you ahead of where you expected to be or is there still a lot of work to be done? Is next week just going to be a matter of tying up loose ends or is it going to be a frantic rush to the end of the month. Or have you given up on your goals already?
As always the most important thing is to know where you are. Which is why this weekend is a great time to take a little time out of chilling to evaluate where you are and what you want and need to do in the last week of the month to achieve everything you had set out to do. If you leave it till the end of the month you run the risk of coming close but not quite getting there, or burning yourself out only to realise that you had no chance of achieving and you would have been better to maintain a steady pace and get it done in a few more days.
This whole month by month concept is kind of an artificial way of looking at things anyway. But it is something that motivates us and makes us take action that we might not have taken otherwise. So it may well be artificial but it works!
