There’s a technique used by all of the world’s top sports people which can also be used very effectively for all kinds of goal setting and that is visualisation. There’s lots of different ways of visualising but the method I find most powerful is one which engages all of your senses. That way you can get a true three dimensional picture of what it is you are aiming for which energises your subconscious mind.
Find a quiet comfortable place to sit where you won’t be disturbed and close your eyes and focus on your vision for your amazing life. If you’re a visual thinker you will probably find this quite easy, but not everyone is a visual thinker – for some of us, when we close our eyes its just dark in there! But that’s fine – you have plenty of other senses you can use. Perhaps you are sitting in your fabulous new car, think of the sound of the engine, the creak of the leather, the feel of the seats, that wonderful new car smell – the more senses you can engage the more powerful your visualisation will be.
Everything that has ever been created was first created in someone’s mind, so the more powerful your visualisations the more quickly and easily you can bring your vision from the realm of your imagination into reality.
Einstein said “Imagination is more important than knowledge” and he knew a thing or two!
